So, I'm off to California for my friend's opulent wedding. Sadly, this means no LJ for me. Since I never post, some will think, big whoop. but for me it means falling further behind in my fanfic reading, which sucks cause I'm already so far behind. grrr!

On the plus side, big party, no work and hanging with college friends! YAY!!

I also want to take this opportunity to pimp some new (to me, anyway) books, the Nightrunner series, I read at the recommendation of gelasius. OMG!!! I got more squee from these than I knew what to do with. Fantasy, espionage, sword fights... and the two main male *gasp* characters are lovers!!! This may be old news to some *cough* Cori, Faith *cough*, but if anyone's looking for fun fantasy with a gay couple at its centerpiece, go read now!!! and... the author, Lynn Flewelling, has a LJ otterdance which says she has contracted for two more books in the series! YAY!

oh, and I'm now beta-ing! i knew my nazi-like adherence to grammar would come in handy some day *grin*. It's spander (shocking, i know), called Heavenly Hordes, by purpledodah. Go read for fun and excitement.
